Business Building: One Key to Success—Your SDA What does SDA stand for? SINGLE DAILY ACTION Let's play pretend: Take yourself forward in time one year from today. You have achieved your network marketing business building goal and with it you have truly begun to realize many of the hopes and dreams you've had for yourself personally and professionally, for your circumstances and for your family. You feel absolutely triumphant! High fives all around! You are on a roll... Smiling So Big. It feels great. Yes! Cool. Now, look back: What were you doing right? What worked so well for you? And when you identify that... ask yourself what two or three things made that work so well? Use your imagination. Remember, you are pretending... Look for one thing: What one specific thing did you do that made all the difference... Of course, it was a mix of things, but what one thing was most responsible for your accomplishing your goal? What's the one thing that you can say without a doubt was The KEY to your success? (Because if you hadn't been doing THAT there's no way you would have gotten where you are.) It's there. It really is. Find it. Leave your judgmental guns at the door. DO NOT let any limitations into this "Imagineering" you are doing here. Don't let, "No, I couldn't do that... Yeah, but... I wouldn't, couldn't, shouldn't..." None of that. Just look and see what one thing would be certain to have brought about the result (your goal) you achieved... Changing gears a bit: Let's say you were an aspiring writer and wanted to write a book. If you wrote 550 words each day (this article is 600 and some), in 93 days you'd have a book about the size of The Greatest Networker in the World, which has sold more than one-million copies around the world. Working four days every week doing that one thing, you'd have your book in six months. Now, lets shift back to your network marketing direct sales business and that goal you achieved. What "550 words each day" action did you see was responsible for your success? Some possibilities are: You connected and got into relationship with two (or three, or seven...) new people everyday... You told one person each day you wanted her/him for a business partner... You had 10 people each day fill out the home-based business survey on your web site... You had three conversations everyday about how great your products are... You had 25 people everyday watch your product video on YouTube... You handed out three free product sample every day.... You had 30 people downloaded your special report every day... Your SDA is something you do EVERY DAY (and only those days) you work and play in your business. Your SDA is something that when you do it EVERY DAY will guarantee you achieve at least 90 percent of the business goal you're after (even if you do nothing else). Your SDA MUST be a strength you already have, or a strength you are intent on developing. If you're going to step out of your comfort zone, the least you can do is wear loose fitting clothing and your favorite sneakers. :-) Your SDA MUST Feel Good. It's got to interest and excite you. If it doesn't, you won't do it (at least not for long). The key to your network marketing business building success is harnessing the awesome Power of Consistency... and there's no more proven-to-work way than through your SDA.
